Open Access Journals

Em hotep!

The "Ancient World Online" (AWOL) has a useful list of open access journals on ancient studies, in many different languages:
http://ancientworldonline.blogspot.com/2012/07/alphabetical-list-of-open-access.html

Many of them have articles on Egyptian art, history, archaeology, and religion. Here are just a few among the many selections:

British Museum Studies in Ancient Egypt and Sudan (In English)

Ankh: Journal of Egyptology and African Civilizations (In French)

Internet Beiträge zur Ägyptologie und Sudanarchäologie (In German)

Antiquity (Articles and some book reviews on Ancient Egypt in selected issues.) (In English)

NINO Publications on Egyptology Free downloads of Egyptology books from the University of Leiden. (Mostly in English; a few in French, Dutch, or German)

I didn't have time to go through all of the journals, but if you find any particularly good articles among them, please post the links here in this thread.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Rev. Neferu!

The page where the free NINO publications can be downloaded is http://www.nino-leiden.nl/publications.aspx?id=10.

Look out the window. And doesn't this remind you of when you were in the boat, and then later that night you were lying looking up at the ceiling, and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape, and you think to yourself Why is it that the landscape is moving but the boat is still?
