Beheading of Syrian Scholar
« on: August 19, 2015, 09:08:32 am »
(Em Hotep!)

This has me so troubled:

Khaled al-Asaad, "one of the most important pioneers in Syrian archaeology in the 20th century," was beheaded because he wouldn't reveal where the antiquities have been hidden.  For those that haven't heard the story, here's the link.

http://www.usnews.com/news/world/articles/2015/08/19/is-beheads-leading-syrian-antiquities-scholar-in-palmyra

I pray peace to al-Asaad's ka, and for his loved ones.  I pray these hateful terrorists be prevented from their evil deeds, and MAY THEY BE KEPT FAR FROM EGYPT!

Dr. Al-Asaad is in my prayers. He was a very brave man, as well as an eminent scholar.

Prayers for Dr. al-Asaad's spirit, and for his family. May Yinepu attend his ka. May Ma'at and the Nesret see that Justice is done.

Prayers, may Ma'at prevail.

Ignorance and hatred are such evil seeds.
