Yinepu and Heqat in human form
« on: August 29, 2015, 02:38:41 pm »
Em hotep!
I just came across some interesting pictures of Yinepu and Heqat in full human form. These very rare images appear on wall reliefs in the Temple of Ramesses II at Abydos:

Enjoy!

Em hotep all

Rev. Neferu,

Thank you so much for sharing that link!  I remember that there was one image of Yinepu shown as a man and I had forgotten what it looked like and where it was located :)

Thank you :)

Senebty!

Em Hotep,

Wow, that is fantastic. I'm curious about the crown She's wearing, as I can identify the vulture head-dress, but the other part is unique.

Thanks for sharing!

Em hotep!

This is really neat! Thank you for sharing Neferu!

I believe the upper part of Heqat's crown is the lower part of Amun's. At least that's the right shape for it, but it's a bit fuzzy on my phone.
