Help with the third application question
« on: October 31, 2015, 10:47:15 pm »
"What do you bring to Kemetic Orthodoxy, and to Netjer?"

Maybe I'm over-complicating this or maybe my comprehension issues are acting up, but I just don't understand what this is asking.

I'm not asking anyone to answer this for me, just to explain what the question means. Any help is greatly appreciated.

(Also, could someone please explain how I'm supposed to give the House my guardian's written permission if I email my application in?)

Em Hotep Handmaiden,

What are your skills? Your personality? Your work ethics? Your previous experiences? Your insights? Your thoughts? What relationships with Netjer have you had before? Your experiences with Netjer? What do you, as a person, bring to this faith to share and interact with the rest of us?

We are not just an online community or fancy title. We are a living, breathing community where we do have off-line events, we are people behind the online handles, and most of us have established lasting relationship and friendships with not only other members of the Faith, but with Netjer as well.

Hope this helps, and don't stress yourself out too much over this. There's also no rush to get the application in, so it may be helpful to sit with it for a bit to think on the answers.

Sometimes I also find it helpful to listen to what my heart and gut are telling me, rather than my mind. ;)
