There times when I see a green waves of colour, other times I see a brighter light, like a window's curtain being open.

I sometimes see circles of light. But I also see strange things in normal consciousness, in specific I have visual static. So I'm quite use to perceiving things differently than others.

It's perfectly normal and can denote several things.
In Western Magick some advance meditations involve holding a shape in your mind of a certain color and not keep it there.
On an eternal search for the truth with occasional stops for snacks and site seeing.

Hey guys, I am trying to get some practice with some oracle work. Anyone who wants a reading please feel free to message me ^_^

I usually see burst of colorful circles.  They begin as single points, then grow until they disappear.  When I see them, it's a precursor for AP.

So, today I did a lot of meditating. I find myself meditating on sentences in paragraphs trying to understand their reasoning.  8)

I do feel a lot better afterwards.

What is AP? Astral projection?

Very interesting @ Rayashi. Sometimes for me, the colors change colors when I do reflective meditation. I always wonder why ? I guess I have to conduct research why.

I set different goals for my meditations. Only without a specific goal I see like an empty canvas or room with a single dot. After a few minutes the canvas changes to a kind of abyss. Over the abyss there is an eye. I had some OBE's after letting everything go and falling into the abyss. It felt like being disconnected from existence and falling into nothingness, becoming nothingness.
I only met one person before who had exactly the same kind of experience.

"I am the flame enlighting the night. I am Wesir-Chontameni, lord of the great beneath and my heart burns like the Eye of Horus at the brightest day. Truly I am the one of Djed and evil shall fear me. The light of Wesir-Chontameni casts out the darkness, turns it into the purest essence of Ma'at."
