Hethert & Heru-wer's Procession Through WI
« on: July 06, 2017, 01:48:00 pm »
Hi all!

Tamiwi and I wanted to share our celebration of The Beautiful Reunion with the procession of Hethert & Heru-wer through Wisconsin -- specially Milwaukee!  (Sekhmet and Khonsu are acting as avatars for them as we didn't have travel sized versions to come with us otherwise... ::))

We started off at Holy Hilly, a nationally recognized Basilica.  They had to get married somewhere!

http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss161/AutumnJuniperKnight/20170705_090119_zpsiqizz26x.jpg

Then made our way for breakfast...yum!  Fresh made jelly is the best!

We stopped at the original water tower...because it doesn't all come from the Nile!

As we finally made it to the beach!  Sun, sand and some pretty rocks! Nekhtet!

Oops, Heru-wer got buried!  Silly Hethert!

We made a stop to say hi to the Bronze Fonz!

Eeeey!  He congratulated them!

Ended up in Egypt...!?
http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss161/AutumnJuniperKnight/20170705_140056_zpsphqod7vd.jpg

Oh no wait we're at the Safe House being spies!  Spies for who though....Ra?

And then after a long journey, back home for sushi and to watch the new Shemsu naming! Nekhtet guys!
http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss161/AutumnJuniperKnight/20170705_184327_zps9lsdnltg.jpg

It was a bit of a journey, but they made it all the more fun. :)
Hope you all enjoyed our pictures. <3

Awww, this warms my heart. <3 It brings me joy to see Them in Milwaukee! What an adventure it seems They had this year!

Not to derail the thread, but were y'all just visiting? I live in Milwaukee, so it'd be nice to know there are more KO folk around. :)

Em Hotep Gezausenu!

We live in Green Bay, which is close to Milwaukee; and Lelena has family in Milwaukee. We'd love to fellowship, and keep an eye on the fellowship threads for some hosting we'll be doing up here as well. Can't wait to meet you!! :)

Em hotep, Tamiwi!

Ahhhh, home of the boys in green and gold! Once in my life I intend to make a pilgrimage there. <3

*ahem*

Seriously, though, it would be lovely to meet you and others too sometime! I'll definitely keep an eye out for any local-ish gatherings. :)

Em Hotep Gezausenu!

Thank you!  I lived in Milwaukee for five years while going to UWM :) only ended up back in Green Bay because of work, but Tamiwi and I go down as often as we can!  It seemed like the perfect day to take Them with us.  Especially since I'm still getting involved and learning and connecting with the different Names.

You should definitely make a pilgrimage here sometime!  We're intending on hosting for Wep Ronpet, as well as seeing if anyone wants to join us for either a Ren Faire day or Six Flags.

It would be great to meet you!  Hopefully we get to this summer before it's over! Haha.

Senebty,

Kate

You both look like you're having so much fun celebrating! I love the Fonz photo! Also, sushi offerings are the best offerings. ;)

Thanks for sharing. Holy Hill is gorgeous. I grew up in Sheboygan County, and our church occasionally took trips there. Stupid question, but is that Green Bay or Lake Michigan? :)

Thanks everyone! :)

And it's not a stupid question!  It's Lake Michigan!  We went down to Bradford beach off of Lake drive. <3

This is such a cool idea, thank you for sharing! Also the statues are beautiful--where did you find them if you don't mind my asking? :D
