Hello! I'm new!
« on: August 16, 2017, 09:55:06 am »
Hello there! Just a little about me: Hi, I'm Courtney, I'm 26 and residing in Virginia. The last two weeks the thought in my head would pop up 'Search if people still worship Egyptian gods..'.. and here I am! I never grew up religious.. after my great grandfather passed 3 years ago i started 'speaking' to God only when i felt there was overwhelming sadness or crisis in my life(was never one to pray before meals, go to church, read the bible),yet i've always been open to learning about new religions etc. Ive always been interested in Egyptian history.. so I thought id look into kemet.org and found this place! I hope to learn more about this practice and this community! Thank you for reading!

Have you signed up for the Beginner's course? I believe the next one starts in October. It is a great way to get familiar with this community.

So you know, the beginner's class isn't a massive commitment with hours of study a week (or a day). You might be able to complete it while doing schooling. But obviously that will be up to you to determine.
