Hello again! (Olá novamente!)
« on: May 17, 2018, 08:13:18 am »

Good morning everyone! (here in Brazil it's still morning)

I have not participated in the forum for a while, so I'm kind of lost (college, work and family consume our time in such a way that we do not even realize how fast it goes).
Did not have an area for those who speak Portuguese? I looked and searched, but I did not really find it. If you can leave the link here in reply, I'll be grateful.

Hugs!

PS: waiting anxiously to know if I will participate in the group of this next semester!

Bom dia a todos! (aqui no Brasil é manhã ainda)

Faz um tempo que não participo aqui no fórum, então estou meio perdido (faculdade, trabalho e família consomem nosso tempo de tal forma, que nem percebemos como ele passa rápido).
Não tinha uma área destinada aos que falam o idioma português? Procurei e procurei, mas realmente não encontrei. Por gentileza, se puderem deixar o link aqui como resposta, ficarei agradecido.

Abraços!

PS: esperando ansiosamente para saber se participarei da turma desse próximo semestre!

Welcome back,

It looks like the board for Portuguese speakers is listed as private, so under Guest status wouldn’t be visible.

Best of wishes to you

Hello,

It's nice to see you again and welcome back.

On a side note, I'd love to see the Portuguese boards as I don't understand them but would like to see if they could be translated so the ones that don't speak it would know what everyone was talking about (and could perhaps comment as well on that thread).

See you on the boards.

On a side note we would love to see the English boards as portuguese speakers don't understand them so if they could be translated so the ones that don't speak it would know what everyone is talking about xDDD

I'm just kidding. That's a good idea, but funny when you see that the forum is confusing and inaccessible for many non-English speakers. But "our" board should be translated for those who can get the most of the forum.

On the other hand, it would be helpful for everyone, and that's what really matters.

Meresinepu / Tjemsy, good morning.

Thanks for the welcome words!
Meresinepu, I confess that I did not understand part of your text (translated translated in a way that I did not understand well, however, I imagine you are speaking something related to the forum being all in English).

Meresinepu, confesso que não entendi parte de seu texto (o Google Tradutor traduziu de uma forma que não compreendi bem, contudo, imagino que esteja falando algo relacionado ao fórum estar todo em inglês).

There are a number of browser plug-ins that can make that happen! If you tell me what browser you use I can point you in the right direction.

Hello again AndreyNRibas,

Thank you all for the input. I appreciate your response as well.

I guess the folks that speak English wish we could either speak the language or be able to translate it.  It's interesting to know that you share the same wish too.  :)

I know for me personally, I want to know right away what it says so I'll struggle to try and translate the words but it takes me forever and most of the time I think they are not right (online translator sites).

I can't wait for the "affordable" technology to be available to everyone. How cool will that be for all of us to be able to translate the language differences so we know what we are saying to each other in real time or at the time we are reading/responding.  I'd love to have a "universal translator" like Star Trek or the new Sci-Fi movies show as it would make communication so much easier for all of us here on Earth (what a concept right?).

Rev. Sobeq, I have access to IE, and Firefox and Google.  Which one would you suggest? If none, is there a better one you would recommend? I'm not very tech minded so it will have to be something I can understand (I'll even write down the instructions!). If you'd like you can leave me a private message here on the Boards when you've got time to let me know (it's not a rush, I'm at your convenience).

Thank you again. :)

Senebty!
