It’s based on the character design for Isis from a video game called Age of Mythology.
On the Temple Steps - My amulet shop.
Per-Sabu.org - More jackals than you can shake a stick at.
Big Bad Jackal - Another jackal-laden venue.

Funny enough, that statue is based off of the Age of Mythology artwork for Isis!

But personally, I've never seen Her with a shield, but I don't see why She couldn't show up with one if She wanted to. She is very protective, after all! :V

Shield with Mom?  Nope, she isn't the warrior type.  #1 reason why I don't like that piece. And that would explain why I didn't ever like it Bezenwepwy

I just wanted to note a few things about Aset.

Aset is an Eye of Ra.  She is a lioness, a cobra and a leopard/panther.  She slays enemies with flame and magic. Every night She and Set slay the Serpent Enemy of the Gods (she uses magic, he uses a spear).

She is shown with a scimitar at the Temple of Philae.  She has some epithets "Mistress of Battle", "Lady of the Saber/Sword" and "Who saves everyone she loves on the Battlefield".  She slays the enemies of Ra, Wesir and Heru.  She slays other enemies (comrades of Set) with magic, flame and knives within the Ptolemaic Jumilhac Papyrus.

In the LAGG, some weapons  are  listed for her:  bow and arrow, harpoon  and knives.  And at Philae, a sword.

She's not a warrior or soldier like Sekhmet or Heru Wer. She normally uses magic and flame when destroying enemies, but she does have a protective, warrior-like nature.

As for the statue, I wasn't sold on it either.  Until I read  this post by Sobekemiti: https://persebek.wordpress.com/2016/02/18/this-is-my-isis/

I stand corrected, still don't like the statue.
