Em hotep, Abet!  Welcome to the forums!  I hope you get a lot out of the beginners class.  Be sure to ask if you have questions!  It can be a whole lot of information.

I love making jewelry too!  I'd love to see some of your pieces at some point!

Em hotep Abet! You and I were named on the same day, along with your mom and Mimafdet. :) Sokar was one of the gods in festival on your birthday, I offered to be one of your godparents! I'm happy that you're interested in getting to know more about Kemetic Orthodoxy!

I also love to read; right now I'm reading The Shadowed Sun by N. K. Jemisin, and I'm finally reading the most recent Warriors series after falling behind for a while. I roleplay too - I used to do forum roleplays, but now I mostly do pen-and-paper games like Fate, Dungeons & Dragons, or Pathfinder. :)

I look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome, Abet! :D
Look out the window. And doesn't this remind you of when you were in the boat, and then later that night you were lying looking up at the ceiling, and the water in your head was not dissimilar from the landscape, and you think to yourself Why is it that the landscape is moving but the boat is still?
