March Donations:
March was another rough month for fundraising. We achieved $1,246.14 in donations. This does not reach our goal of $2000 per month to keep our current operations running. Dua Netjer for donors who have stepped forward to top off the donations and ensure we can continue our work. These are individuals who have savings available to support the House of Netjer, and this is not an indefinite source of financial support. We need to come together to support the temple.

How To Help:

If you are able to: please donate. Any amount is helpful, but small donations work best through the PayPal Giving Fund just because there are no fees associated with that avenue.

All donors will be added to the Shomu mailing list, which provides extra information on the calendar, prayers, and occasionally extra teachings from the Nisut.

Those who donate $33 or more per month will receive even more rewards (currently in the works).

Anyone can fundraise for the House of Netjer. The only thing we ask is that you clearly state that you, personally, are running the fundraiser, and provide a way for people to contact you with questions.

A good example: "Hi, Sobeq here. I'm selling candy bars to raise money to donate to the House of Netjer. Each candy bar will be $2. Half of my profit will be donated to the House of Netjer! If you have any questions, email me at emailsobeq@email.com" (not a real email address or fundraiser).

A bad example: "Hi, Sobeq here! I'm selling candy bars for the House of Netjer! Each candy bar is $2. Hope you'll buy some!"

If you aren't sure, you can always ask by emailing fundraisers@kemet.org .

The 33 Club:

There were 10 individuals who donated $33 or more to the House of Netjer in March! Dua Netjer en-ten! Keep an eye out for your rewards to start appearing over the course of April.

Goals for April:

Our goals for April remain the same: we need to raise $2000 in order to keep our Temple doors open each month. If just 2 people donate $33 per day, we can get there. Dua Netjer en-ten for your ongoing generosity -- let's make April a strong month for our financial health!!

Rev Sobeq, thank you for keeping us posted on this info. Also- I’m not sure who handles it- but I think the addition of the PayPal giving fund button on the front page is excellent. It’s a lot more accessible, now, and a nice reminder.

April is off to a strong start. We have $530 pending in PayPal Giving Fund and $148 in regular PayPal donations, for a total of $678! That's an awesome total for the 4th day of April. Let's keep up the momentum!

PayPal Giving Fund is still at $530 to be sent to use on April 25th or thereabouts. We have had $173 worth of donations through the regular PayPal for a total of $703 in April.
