vultture head-dress
« on: September 13, 2010, 07:57:39 am »
While meditating this morning I had a vision of a vulture head-dress and crown being place on a beautiful lady. I also saw just an injured thumb, and had the feeling that I wanted to help and to heal. not just the person who's thumb it was, but to heal and help in general. What do you make of this guys, and who is the godess?

Em hotep Meza  :)

This is great! The Names are slowly revealing themselves to me the more I learn about Kemet. I think alot of it has to do with me openning myself up more too. Would the healing part be Mut too, because I'm also training to be a hedgewitch, and have been interested in healing for a long time?

It's possible it's Mut. As I understand she is often seen with the vulture headress. However, any "queen" could have that sort of regalia- along with any goddess that has queenly associations (Aset, Hethert, etc). I'm not sure if the thumb specifically has any meanings, or if it's just more related to healing in general :)

Thankyou Devo. When I got the vision, I thought it was Nekhbet at first, and the thumb bit of it threw me because it was such a strong feeling of wanting to heal people. No words were spoken but the feeling is still strong with me now.

Maybe focusing on the healing is what is important at this point. That working on that will bring through the particular god(s) that are trying to get your attention.
