I've never thought of printing or drawing pictures of the Names before. I've been worried for ages about affording statues because money is extremely tight. I'm not worried now, I can just get one or two small statues, once I know who my Parents are hopefully in the near future. This thread has helped me so much. Thankyou everyone.  :)

I've found that not only is drawing a convenient way to generate depictions of one's Parents, the process itself also honors Them.

Even if one's results don't look exactly like ancient depictions of the Names, I think everyone has some level of drawing skill that can be put to devotional use. I am sure those who have children of their own will attest to the joy that a child's drawing can bring, even if it is not technically perfect (heck, even if you can't tell what it is!). I imagine our Divine Parents get the same kind of feeling when we create art for Them.

Em hotep Aashemmuti!

When you put it like that, it makes perfect sense. I have a four and a half year old grandaughter, and it fills me with joy to see her drawings. :D And I do draw and paint so have no excuse not to honour the Gods in this way. I can do them as offerings too. Thankyou.  :)

Isabella- if your Gods are happy with it then don't worry!  Yinepu tends to like a very simple shrine from me (He is very Zen about these sorts of things).
