Neheh, Papa's statue was so much fun to work on! <3 If you're thinking of making your own statue(s), too, I highly recommend it--even if the statues don't turn out as you'd hoped (which are most of mine, to be honest)--it's helped me feel more connected to each Name, and I believe They appreciate the effort, nonetheless. :)

I also really like your shrine, Neheh. <3 There's a very home-y feel to it.

Thank you, Gezausenu! :)  (I've been getting that "This is your assignment!" from Set.  I must at least try to make a Set enthroned statue.  That's all He says.  "Try! You might surprise yourself!" :) )

Padjaiemweru, aw thank you! I'm sure your shrine was beautiful. When you get it reset I would love to see a photo!

Senuwierneheh, Your space is so pretty! I really love the picture of Hethert right behind her statue.

Gezausenu, I love the handmade statues! They're gorgeous and what a great way to really connect in shrine. It makes me want to attempt to do some. I used to draw a lot but I've never tried sculpting.

Em hotep friends!

This question has probably been asked before, but I'm wondering if there is a preferred directional orientation for Kemetic shrines? I suspect its East, but I'd rather ask than offend through ignorance.
Thank you.

Em Hotep Justice,

Yes, most Kemetic Netjer shrines are asked to be placed East, while Akhu shrines are West. There are some reasons for that, which I'd be more than happy to talk about in another thread so we're not derailing this one.

Em hotep! Wanted to post a picture of my current Senut shrine set up. :)

This is it with the lights off closer up:

The blue starry cloth drops down to give some privacy since it's located in the bedroom. :) They don't seem to mind so much so yay!
