Em hotep, friends!

I, too, love the box idea!! It's so simple and elegant!! <3 A wonderful home for Mama Sekhmet and Bast, indeed!

More of a close-up today than I usually take of my Wepwawet shrine. But I wanted a picture of the inside of the “holy of holies” with the ‘water’-lily in the foreground.
This is amazing! Where dis you get those Wepwawets????

I think you could say I got them from Wepwawet. :) They are bronze casts of my divinely enabled/engendered original sculptures of him. It helps that he also then seems to make sure I am able to get them molded and cast after they’re done. (I do have a market place thread here on the forums too.)

I finally set up a space for the Theban Triad! I know the picture frames kinda tacky, but I honestly love it. It's fun and adds a lot of colour!

I actually have a question regarding Shrines and Altars.

I’m still waiting to start the Beginner class, so I’m wondering if it matters where in the room it’s placed (what direction we pray).

If so, it towards the Dawn or Dusk? Towards the Nile or Pyramids?

Thank you.

If you can, having your shrine for the Netjeru in the East is ideal, while your Akhu shrine is in the West. This is not mandatory. Personally, my shrines are not in these preferred directions, but if you can do so then that is great.

More on it can be found in this thread on setting up shrines

Senebty,
Endy

Edited to correct my wording on shrine placement!

for future reference, we strongly discourage people from posting images in threads. This is to accommodate people with slower internet connections. Thank you.

Em hotep!

I found a bigger shrine "container" for my senut and informal shrine -- It's two identical side tables stacked nicely on top of one another. They happened to nest perfectly and are pretty stable!

Pictures can be found on my Tumblr.

Thank you Neheh and Gezausenu! I'm very proud of it. And I am very thankful to have quite a few pieces of art, Gezausenu. They are a treasure.

Thank you Daughter! I love my Set icon, He was the first one I bought. When I brought Him home, His ear had broken and I was sad, but then very clearly He told me "Broken things can be mended," so I glued it on and He was happy. You can barely tell unless you examine it closely. And I felt those were very wise words I needed to hear personally.

As for the Mafdet icon... the one on the top with Her in the red dress was made for me by Rev. A'Aqyt when she offered her shrine icon service for a bit.

The copper one in my senut shrine I found on Amazon. It was listed as a Bast icon by the creator but Mafdet indicated that She wanted a copper/gold one. Here is the link. I was considering painting spots on Her, as She usually comes to me as a serval, but I think She doesn't mind either way.
