Em Hotep everyone

this is probably my favorite thread of the forum hehehhehe all of your shrines are beautiful!

This is my shrine on a regular basis (BEFORE RPD), I change it as I need it for the festivals, Heka and rituals. The images are of Aset, Nebt-het (yes I know about the yellow taboo, but I checked with Her if that would be a problem and  it is all good) and Yinepu.

Divine shrine!  Where did you find that large beautiful statue?

Here is how my shrine is set for the Wesirian Mysteries:

I have a very simple space, but I'm working on adding things as I'd like it to be a bit more than it is now.

I recently got to set up a shrine space in my new apartment. I took a picture yesterday. Top shelf is Netjer, bottom shelf is Akhu. :)

My Foremost Shrine!
« Reply #1063 on: December 31, 2019, 12:33:27 am »
Now that I know my parents.. I'm work in progress on my shrine stuff. :)

I have two shrines right now, working on a third, and designing a fourth..

The one I'm working on right now is The Big One.  I have a rough time making perfect ritual purity every single day. That said, I believe that since I'm not a priest, Doing My Best on purity, but doing Senut very often, is better than doing it seldom.. so I have my akhu shrine and I have my "just do it" shrine where I visit netjer every day, which have been in place since I was a beginner.

I'm still designing a travel shrine.. but the one I'm working on right now is the over the top, the big one, the love fest for my parents and beloveds for Senut opportunities when I can do maximum ritual purity, maximum concentration, and the best of offerings.

I'm super excited.  I know it's pretty western-accented, but it's the tradition I came from, and I feel like we're doing all right so far! I can talk about where stuff came from, and what my ideas were all about, and where I'm going for it in the future.  As you can see, it's not anywhere near done.  I have no linens, I haven't decorated any of the statues, and I haven't decorated anywhere around it.. but .. this.  This is the one right now. :) It's not ready for use, but it feels so right, and I'm fairly well giddy for the gift to Netjer that it is.

So anyhow.  Work in progress.  LOTS to do on this.

But here we go!

It's so beautiful!!  Eventually I want to go there, but right now I'm dealing with bought instead of designed/made stuff!!  Are the texts on it valid texts, or are the hieroglyphs decorative?  It's ridiculously detailed and beautiful, it's truly a gift and exaltation of Netjer!
